It would be so enlightening if…

... when I am asked to work as a consultant in 'mainstream' schools or colleges if the headteachers and special needs co-ordinators didn't start the initial meetings with phrases like these ' We are here to celebrate or we are here to embrace diversity'.
These are the most discriminating phrases in my book unless, they are used during every meeting for every pupil

They are but an incantation to call fools into a ring. Just empty ,meaningless words. The speakers might be a little less keen if more personally affected.

What an invidious situation to find yourself in. I am afraid that my own failure ('challenge'?) of being unable to suffer fools gladly would hardly suit me to the role of consultant...
